i really like that one

Vic, can I join your band? I'll play cowbell or triangle, anything!
LOL. That band is history, but happily, all ended very well and we're all still great friends. It'd been around for over 10 years with various iterations of players. I was in the band for the last 3 or so years. The leader just decided he wanted to do the home studio thing instead of the bar gig thing, so he called it quits. He also wanted that particular band to end on a high note, and venues were starting to dry up a bit in the area at the time, etc. It was definitely a great ride, and I don't mind that he did what he did. Otherwise, while the band would continue to do well, it probably still would have had to suffer an unpleasant decline, and that just wouldn't be appropriate for that band.

The band I currently play most for does the same kinds of music, but for most of our gigs, the crowds are not as, shall we say, uninhibited (tho sometimes things can still get interesting... this band just doesn't encourage it as actively... not really this band's thing).

Vic, I definitely do have a fantastic imagination, but I can't imagine that my imagination of the next few pictures in this series to be better than the real thing. PM - PRETTY PLEASE...i too can keep a promise and will promise not to share these with anyone...even my wife :hiding:
LOL :)

So can we get some more contribs here? I was hoping to kick this thing back up a notch. :)

I've got an outdoor show today.

It's a lovely summer's day, hopefully there'll be a few people there.

I'll bring my camera and see what I can do for my TB brothers.

Okaaaay, well, there was a decent-sized crowd, as expected and some of them were of the good-looking female persuasion.

However, I wasn't quite able to capture many for posterity, as they seemed to be exclusively accompanied by hulking boyfriends.

You can imagine how that could have been awkward for me:

"Hello mate, just taking a pic of your girlfriend for the viewing pleasure of the fellas on Talk Bass".

Probably not the best idea.

Still, the singer in the support band was easy on the eye:

These ladies are friends and come to a few of our shows:

Can I draw your attention to the lady in the multicoloured dress, pictured between the two foreground ladies, slightly further back.

She was probably the pick of the bunch - very nice looking indeed.
However, the aforementioned boyfriend problem prevented me from sharing her with the world!

I feel I've let the side down a bit, I've got another show next saturday, so I'll try to make amends.
