Motorcycle wreck 37 years ago(I was 16) = left leg 1.5" shorter than right. That resulted in 37 years of # 3, 4, 5 getting slammed for decades. A chiro helped but did not fix anything. I got one of these inversion tables($199 then) to say goodbye to the chiro bills & pain:

They work.

15 minutes with about 5 full inversions, twist around while fully inverted.
Works for me. YMMV.

After seeing that commercial I decided that I wanna try one out even though I don't have any back problems. :o

Mine made me feel much better. I know he's not fixing my underlying problem(s?) but the treatment addresses the symptoms and feels great.

If it's quackery, it's far less expensive and harmful than surgeries that also address symptoms instead of causes. (Carpal and cubital tunnel surgeries, now THAT's idiocy!)

I'm not a fan. Mainly because it isn't very tightly regulated (ie, it isnt at all, at least in the UK iirc).

And the foundation of chiropractory is pretty much lunacy.

IMO, they do nothing that a physiotherapist couldn't.

Ever tried osteopathy? It's a specialization of physiotherapy. Anyway, you wouldn't let a village doctor do cardiac surgery on you, now would you?

Odd position to play the bass.

I carry things that are heavy enough to require dollies from time to time without thinking about it, then a pain in the base of my spine reminds me I'm not a teenager anymore. No serious damage so the chiro can work those pains out pretty well. $20 co pay and a massage? Oh yeah! No happy ending tho.

I don't have back problems, but I want to do it in that position :D

My old man is a retired physio and specialised in working on the back.

And no, because they would probably make things worse, just as chiropractory quite often does. Something feeling better for the short term can often make things worse over the long run.
