Choosing a bass is hard!

Hey all!
I understand these threads come up alot but I've got nowhere else to turn for advice on this one.
I'm looking to buy a new bass, but I'm really having troubles deciding what to get. I prefer 6 string basses altough 5ers might work.
My main bass right now is a Yamaha RBXJM2...I just want something different this time..
Anyway, to the point; Here are three basses I've been looking on, which one would you choose and why?

MTD Kingston Z6

Warwick Corvette $$ 6-String

Music Man Bongo 6 HH

I will be very happy for any input!

Last Wednesday, I really didn't have a desire for any other instruments - the odd thought of building another custom myself flickered through my head, but that always happens. The last thing I "needed" was another P bass. I already have a 62RI and a 57RI plus a P/J that I recently built and am still loving it. On Thursday, I was poking around for no good reason and came across a '68 Fender P - that thing hit me like a lightning bolt. I bought it on Friday.

My point is...I don't pick basses, they pick me.

Thanks for the input guys!

Yeah from what I've read the Bongo is a very versatile..and Ive also read that Warwicks are..not so versatile. Is this correct?

Thats the tough part about living here in Sweden...we dont have many large music stores, but the ones we do have sell very very dull instruments...Fenders...
Its very hard to try out basses that could even be remotely interesting...

I don't find Fenders dull at all, but to each their own. Personally, I find the Bongo hideous.

If you can't actually play ANY of the ones you've listed, you'll just have to go with your gut instinct. Sleep on the decision for a few nights and see which one starts creeping into your dreams. Which one do you picture yourself playing the most? Relax and let it pick you. When you buy, make sure it's somewhere with a decent return policy.

If I didn't have the option of playing any of those before buying, I'd go with the MTD. Next would be the Wick. Personally, I wouldn't buy the Bongo. Call me shallow all you want; a bass has to look somewhat appealing to my eye for me to want to touch it. I don't think I'll ever warm up to the Bongo. JMO.

Personally I'd go for the Warwick out of that list. I think the pickup location would work better for slapping then say the Bongo. That Warwick is very versatile as well. I don't think their necks are bad. They are thicker, but they feel fast. The Warwick seems like it would balance slightly better. I'd look at other basses if possible, there's a cool Zon Todd Johnson 6 string at Atlanta Bass Gallery, might be pretty pricey, though.
