Chorus??

I'm looking for a Very Mellow Chorus sound for my Bass to use in some Softer Songs my Band Plays...

But with the Possibility to have a Couple of Other Sounds, Not Just being a One Trick Pony...

Maybe with a Mix/Blend Knob to Fit it More Suitably to the Songs Needing that...

I'm Not looking to spend a Million Pounds but in the same sense I'm Willing to Pay for Something Worth it.

Any Advice??

My guitar player used to have an Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress, which combines chorus with flanger. It's a cool pedal; I tried it with my bass too. I personally don't find much use for flanger on bass, but if you do, this could be just the ticket.

I use a Boss CEB-3, and the feature that sold me was the "low filter", which allows you to let the low frequencies through unchorused, and only chorus the higher frequencies. I find this VERY useful. Indispensable, actually.

I don't greatly rate flanger either, we we're just messing around with some chorus on the bass mix in the studio and it sounded sweet really fitted the song, so wondered what pedal I could get to sort of do that job

I like that low filter thing, that's cool its sort of like that xfade on the mxr bass chorus deluxe but with more controlability. Really like that, definiatly looking for something like that as an option

Mike 111,
If you like the idea of the Boss pedal with the low filter, you can try a Behringer which will be dirt cheap compared to the Boss. I currently use the chorus feature on my POG2 but it does not have the low filter and I will say chorusing all the notes is not nearly as nice sounding as just chorusing the higher notes.

Yehh cheers man and is it just the ultra chorus? I can't find a bass specific one?

Agreed, that's why that filter is a must have for me I think, I do like the MXR Xfade but its not got the controle from what I can tell as the boss one does.

Try the hardwire rv7 on the modulated setting. I really like it.
