Very cool. I was surprised when I heard he’d be touring with AC/DC. I’d imagine pounding eighth notes all night will not be a challenge for him, but I’m sure the pay is good.
Always liked him but his vintage P bass distracted me from his playing. How do I make my rosewood fretboards shiny like that?! I ain't got 60 years.
Liking the music is key. I can't for the life of me make Proud Mary or any CCR song sound good because I just feel miserable playing those endless D G A changes...The trick is to make it sound good, no matter how simple or hard the gig is. The more I play, the more I respect that ability.
I think that's just it, decades of playing. He may have had a gloss poly sprayed over the fingerboard, or more often than not, a really shiny fingerboard?
Lots of Finger Ease.
