Wow. They play the tune with a mid-tempo 6/8 feel, but Squire does NOT make the 16-note oriented bass part work in that context at all.

Why do they have to call it Yes, anyway?
There's no power in the music in that clip. They sound like they are at half-everything.
Regardless of what Squire should or should not have done, the song is so boring it is mind numbing. That is the kind of song you expect cheerleaders to be dancing to at a football game. Although it is only a sound check, I'd come up with a better song than that. I think Chris Squire was bored and I would have been, too.
Great Rickenbacker bass tone in that vid. Thanks for posting it. That is a monster bass sound there. Why dosen't he sound like that nowdays?
I picked other..reminds me of when the guitard and drummer goes off on a tagent, when I have something I really need to rehearse.
OK, Mike...now yer just creepin' me out. I was actually thinking the same thing when I watched it.
