+1 - Exactly ... I'm just saying Slayer isn't Christian music! In any way, shape or form!

Didn't say it was! Doesn't change the fact that Araya is basically taking communion.

Okay, so we all agree on this.
Tom is a Christian, Slayer is not a religious medium.

Alcyon, or can you recommend me some Slayer lyrics where there is a hint of religious message in it?

I'm a metalhead, and I know Slayer, but I'm not an expert on Slayer.

I tend to gravitate towards the metalcore area of the metal spectrum. Some of my favorite bands are (in no particular order):

Becoming the Archetype (Already mentioned, but AMAZING)
The Showdown (Minus their second CD, they're fantastic)
As I Lay Dying (Everybody knows them)
War Of Ages (I've gotten to open for them a couple of times, they're awesome dudes)
For Today (My old band played with them a lot, and they're sweet dudes)
With Blood Comes Cleansing (really, really heavy)
August Burns Red (super technical, crazy time changes, unbelievable drumming)
Sleeping Giant (crazy heavy, but they swing more in the hardcore direction)
