Cigars ?

I went through a phase of smoking cigars when i quit cigarettes and weed, i usually smoked 2 or 3 cigars a month.
Now, i have gone back to occasionally smoking weed (once a month or so, smoked daily for 10 years before that!) and it has made me crave smoking less, so i smoke less cigars.
I do enjoy a good cuban on my balcony on a nice summer day, but now i smoke maybe one every two months.

My favorites are Partagas (D4, D2, B2) and Bolivar (royal Corona and Belicoso Fino)

I wouldn't call myself a cigar afficionado, in the spirit of Columbo I usually smoke cheap cigars. Not White Owls or that ilk but something you can pick up at a cigar store for less than two bucks. There used to be a nice store with a smoking lounge here called Sherlock's Haven. But alas, it has been bought out by someone else and changed, plus the smoking lounge is gone. They had a cheap cigar there that I enjoyed. I think they were made in Ireland, no band on the cigar and the didn't bother to keep them in the humidor. I have never seen them anywhere else and I can't remember the name. Do these sound familiar to anyone? These were kind of like the Fender Squires of the cigar world.

Every once in a while I'll have one. Cigarettes are gross, however.

I had a cigar at a luxury resort on New Years, along with a glass of MacAllan Fine Oak 15 year whiskey. It was the resort's private label cigar (Came with the whiskey.), so I don't know who made it, but it was a milder cigar that I really enjoyed! I guess I like milder smokes. Generally, if a cigar is dark in color, I don't like the flavor.

Oh, and if I'm going to have a cigar, I'll have a nice one. No $3 Phillies or whathaveyou. :hyper:

I enjoy them on the golf course and vacation: sitting on a balcony after a day at the beach or golf course getting ready to shower and head down for dinner, with a cocktail or tall IPA in hand.

...getting light headed just typing that!

That hurts.

When it comes to a good stick for a good price, I'm rather partial to Rocky Patel. They've changed their branding since I was smoking a little more regular, but I've never had a Rocky I didn't enjoy.

Yeah man Clarkson is a ranger killer i live like 20 min from the rock so a go to the rangers devs game....Man tough building if your a Ranger fan.

$2 cigars?! I thought the ones I were buying for ~$20 were cheap :hiding::hiding::hiding:

$20 for a stick is a rip off, I don't care how good the smoke is.

A really good smoke for the money (about $11-12) is one called a Tatuaje, it's a Honduran cigar that's a nice mix of full bodied flavor, while still being easy on the palate, not really spicy, but not completely bland either like some of the 601s or Rocky's can be (in my opinion and experience).

Another good smoke to check out is the Camacho brand. Fairly affordable at around $7-$10 range. Pretty decent range of flavors as well, going from a really light smoke to a nice, full bodied maduro.

Of course, my go-to cigar when I smoke them (not very much anymore) is the Arturo Fuente Black Match-light. They're about $7.50 a stick, and are nice because you can light them with a single match, as opposed to having to put a few together to consistently get a solid light. The match end is sort of tapered down, reminiscent of a Torpedo, but not quite. Very, very good cigar for the price, and you can find them pretty much anywhere.
