Joe you never mention anything bout a talk bass GTG...

I would strongly suggest topcats as well, great bar, great owner... and they are trying to get everything back to its hayday... Im helping rebuild the system after it was ransakced for free for him. The monitor amps were stolen, as well as one of the sub amps blown. not to mention all the mics stolen and effects and compressors.


Jimmy, the owner will likely have specials for us... and has no problem with us ordering 20 or so pizzas and bringing them in.

dumb question: would it be ok to invite my buddy Daryl over from Indy with a bunch of his basses that are usually for sale? I didn't know if that would border on some sort of violation. I know right now he's got a SMOKIN' Tung 5, one of the nicest double cut Foderas I've ever seen, a '78 Stingray, and always a small army of Ken Smiths. Beyond all that, he's one of the nicest guys on the planet, and I owe him about 10 Larosa's pizzas.

I'd much rather post it as 1-5...I could be there around 12:45 to open up. Four hours is plenty of time, isn't it?

I'll do earlier if everyone wants to, but I'd like to keep it to four hours.

Also if you guys would rather do it at TopCats, that's cool too.

Yeah me too. I think where we had it last year was a good place. Plus separate rooms so you can get away from the noise for a bit and hear yourself.

I'm thinking the 1:00 to 5:00 is the way to go. Enough time to sleep in and then I'll already be loaded up for my show at the Mad Hatter that night (tentative), but still have enough time to head back home to Middletown, grab some dinner, then grab the wifey, and head to Covington for load in.
