I have 10 pedals running on my dc7 at the moment. I found all the power needs of the pedals and tried to balance them all so that, when daisy chaining, no one channel is over taxed. Seems to be working out ok.

Cioks DC7 review- it's awesome

A tip I usually see mentioned, but that many seem to forget or don't know about, is to try daisy chain pedals with a similar power draw (mA). Here is a nice article with tips about daisy chaining: Top tips on daisy chaining – stinkfoot.se
I have a PowerMax under a PT Metro 16 with 7 pedals on it (guitar board). I just got a second PowerMax to go under a PT Nano - I'm only running 4 pedals, but I have some cables stuffed up under the board, so I can easily expand and add my tuner and Pre/DI (18v). It's a little overkill, but it fits under the flat boards, can handle anything, is light, and great quality.
The DC5 might work for you, or the One Spot CS6.
The CS6 is just a little taller, and won't fit under a flat PT board unless you use screws to mount it. You can use velcro to mount the DC7 / PowerMax.
Get the PowerMax rather than the DC7 I think.
I've come to learn that the powermax gives you different cabling for powering your pedals and you'll likely end up having to buy more of the RCA plugs to power your board, but if you spec out your needs ahead of time you should be able to determine if the savings on the powermax is worth it for the different cables and other feature differences (like USB).
I've got a DC7, DC8, Ciokolate, a DC5 and a few Adams so I'm team cioks all the way, but even I run low on cabling to try and do what I want with all of this non-sense. I've bought a few splitters...I find perfect circuit to be a great spot to get cabling and cioks accessories and with black friday sales upon us, now is as good a time as any to buy stuff from them. I'm debating adding a 2nd DC7 to the mix so I don't have to keep moving power supplies around and I can leave my established boards as established and have power for my experimentations.
Been eyeing something cioks and prolly gonna pull the trigger tonight. Today has been expensive for pedals and the weekend hasnt even started...but I planned/budgeted for this weekend.
Cioks stuff doesn’t see good discounts often. Think best I’ve seen previously was like 5% off.
Now would be the time for anybody on the fence for a DC-7 or wanting to expand one with a CIOKS 4 or 8.
Really can’t say enough good things about them.
I was considering picking up one of the Cioks 4 units with power supply for modular use, but at this current sale price the DC7 makes more sense (I currently use a v1 Eventide Powermax)
Dumb question most likely but I just got a DC7... there are only a couple of cables that aren't daisey chain type. One is really short. Is this PSU meant to gang up similar voltages together? I always though daisy chaining defeated the purpose of iso power? Again, most likely dumb questions or I am missing something. Trying to power 6 pedals on a Nano+ board.
Did you get it new? Mine came with a full complement of single cables, plus a couple of daisy-chains. It didn't come with the adapter needed for ganging two outlets together; I had to order that separately since I do have one 800mA box plugged into it.
Yes, you can chain a few pedals together of similar voltages. I'll do this with two pedals that dont pull a lot of power and run on the same voltage (for example, I have a timmy and a prince of tone chained together and running at 18v). Works great.
Yep, it can be used to daisy chain a bunch of pedals with the same voltage, as long as it doesn't exceed the available ma on that output.
But also yes, this does defeat the point of isolated power for each output, as anything daisy chained together will not be isolated from each other.
Isolated is most important for digital pedals, but occasionally can be important for some noisy analogue pedals too.

Buy more cables. Whoever sold it to you didn’t provide the original compliment. There’s nothing wrong with daisy chaining, until you add that one pedal to the chain that plooks it all up. That’s the true beauty of the DC7, it will do it all. Isolated, daisy chained, high current, voltage variety, you will grow to love it. I was going to suggest Perfect Circuit as a vendor for cables, looks like their stock is pretty low. Supply chain fun times.
I own the Eventide version. Well, the smaller one. I don’t run too many pedals. It was an excellent investment.
I did get it new. I found a few more cables than I originally thought. Had stuff out everywhere on my work table and missed some. I didn't daisy chain any together, just single runs. I didn't use any of the colored cables, only the black cables.
