There isn't a lot of info about this little power box, so I thought I'd put one up.

This is my first pedal power source. I bought it on impulse because I also got a Cali76 and everyone said it runs better at 18v, so it was clearly a "if you give a mouse a cookie" situation...

I also run a bassbone od, which requires a weird 15v power supply. Very few manufacturers make anything that accommodate for this, and if they do their enclosure is too large for my pedal board.

The cioks runs 9, 12, 15, and 18v and is selectable for every pedal. This is a HUGE selling point for me. Also, it's super small and fits perfectly under my pedal train mini.

It can also power something with usb (iPad, charge your phone, etc) and has this other 24v out to power an extension power source. I haven't gotten into that, but it's nice to know that if I did expand my board I don't have to shell out for a whole other power source and use up more electrical outlets.

So far, it's fantastic. Packaging was great, instructions were clear, and it works exactly as it should. I am surprised with how heavy it is, but I had no comparison.

Either way, I'm a fan.

If I can find a cable to use the 24 volt out to power a Rusty Box I'm ordering one.

I asked Cioks support about this, and here was their reply dated March 21st -

We plan to make an adapter to use 24V with effects but it can take several months. Till then you can make an adapter- 24V output uses EIAJ-05 plug.

That settles it, I NEED ONE.

Yeah, they rock. There's nothing you can't get out of one of these. No regrets whatsoever ...

The only issue I've had is getting a current doubling cable. I ordered one from Reverb from Poland, where they make these, and shipping took three weeks (got it today). I guess for all the way from Poland that's not too shabby.

The voltage doubling cable I found here in the states and I had one 2-3 days after ordering.

I was just wondering if any of the multi power supplies can do 24V out since I'm about to try a 360+ preamp. Can or does anyone already make an adapter like Luke mentions?

Cioks makes a voltage doubler flex that you can use with the 12volt setting to achieve 24 volts. Curious on your thoughts on the acoustic. Wanted that thing pretty bad.

Got my DC7 last week and powered up my board. Replaced two Voodoo Labs Iso-5 supplies. If it wasn't for a finding the second Iso-5 for a steal locally I probably would have made this jump a while ago. I wasn't sure if I should have gotten the Eventide version, but the Cioks has the 24v port to expand and came with more cables that I need, so I went with the Cioks. It comes with a bunch of cables and the form factor is great for my Pedaltrain Novo18. Plus one of my pedals picked up interference from the old power supplies and is silent with the DC7. Would definitely recommend!
