Just bought, received, and put on a 136 B Balanced set for my 7-string.
Holy mess, these are hands down the best strings I've ever played. The even/balanced tension is the main reason. Each string is, like, perfectly even in tension and the volume string-to-string is just super consistent. The high F is the same volume as the low B -- that was NEVER the case with my last set (which was horrible in comparison).
My last set were stainless steels (just some cheap plain ones) and they were ok, but the treble/highs were absolutely a nightmare to tame in a live setting. I had to almost cut every treble knob on every pedal/head/preamp just to keep it down. They lacked mids too.
The Circle K's, however, have a VERY punchy mid-range (surprisingly good) and have just enough treble/twang to make them adequate for a metal/rock sound, but I found myself having to boost a lot of treble to get them where I wanted them (again, not used to this). The low end seems great and all around, some very strings. I WILL be a repeat buyer over and over.
It was also cool, they advertised the gauges for the set I bought as something like 136/100/76/55/40/29/20 I think, but when I got them they were literally 136.5/102.5/76/55/41/29/18 -- and I saw an announcement on their website about "For future orders you might notice your gauges are a bit different than what you ordered, we're constantly improving the gauges in sets regarding tension and feel" -- very cool to see they're constantly working and improving their products. I'm just a fan of smaller companies like this who can really focus on a great product first and foremost.
Lastly, these strings have a very nice, smooth nickel feel. Another big plus for me.
EDIT: Saw something earlier in the thread about people wanting more sound samples. I have a small studio bit setup here and can easily make a few, so I'll do that later this week if anyone's interested (just to have a variety of samples out there).
