what are those .254 gauge strings, for piano? anyone ordered them yet? pics?
Does anyone know if these strings, specifically the .166 .124 .094 .070 .053 balanced set, will fit on a Steinberger XS-15FPA? The bass can, according to the Steinberger website, accommodate both normal and double-ball strings.

The scale length for this particular bass is 34".
If I had a .210 and tuned it up half a step to E0, what sort of tension would I be looking at? Would it be tight? What if I had the .200 and tuned it down half a step to Eb?
Those sets would be custom (all singles), correct?
