Classic Reggae/Dub!!!

My paper included full transcriptions of both tracks ("Baby"/"King Tubby") and an analysis of various aspects of the music/artist/image etc. Analysis of various musical parameters as well as semiotics. I wrote the paper (approx. 40 pages in the end) for a graduate-level popular music analysis course. Lots of fun.

I realise this post is about 15 years old so I'm probably talking into the void here... but if by any chance you're still active on talkbass and see this comment, I would love to read your analysis if you are happy to share it.

Hi - thanks for your interest! I never saved that paper in PDF form (which was really stupid of me) so all of the music notation was rendered useless (unless read on my old Mac - which is dead now). I might still have the other fragments of the paper somewhere on a USB key but I'll have to look.

That would be amazing if you'd can find it! Thanks
