clayton custom picks

Make your own. lol Picks can't get much more custom than this. I don't even use a pick on basses.

I ordered one. And 2 more to give as gifts this Christmas. Basically, you punch a pick out of any thin plastic material. They sell sheets of pick material, but I think it's cooler to punch them out of used gift cards. You have to sand them a bit to smooth the edges, but otherwise it works fine.

I have the ultrex in the heaviest gauge. Very interesting and have a great attack and sound. Of all the picks I have used, these are darn near the top. The only pick that tops it in my mind is the Dunlop Jazz III XL, but you can't get them custom printed.

I love my Claytons. I have enough to last me two tours, at least.

I have never had the Customs made, but I have used bothy the Acetal and Black Ravens. These are my favorite production picks- the Black Ravens have a better tone for bass, as it produces less attack and as a result a nicer tone in the low end with less "thack, thack, thack" noise you get with pick use than the Acetals. If it weren't for discovering Gravity picks and then subsequently V-Picks (the screamers are by far the best pick I have ever used!) the dozen Black Ravens I have sitting around would still be in use.
