Cleaning graphite necks

Greetings,

I'm a Modulus player and fan of graphite necks.
I tried contacting Modulus multiple times to get their recommendation but their customer service leaves a little to be desired.

Does anyone have a recommendation on the best way to go about cleaning my Modulus?
Are there any cleaning materials / solvents / methods that work well on graphite? Are there any I should avoid?

The stuff's waterproof and soap and water should work well. I had a Stingray with a Moses graphite neck and that's all I used. I never had a problem.

I clean my Status Graphite body/neck with windex and then I re-oil the fingerboard with lemon oil (wiping off the excess). You can also treat the fingerboard with WD-40, as suggested by Status.

I think you'll be fine with the light windex on the body and lemon oil on the fingerboard (if it is one with a wooden/phenolic board).

from the Modulus Owners Manual:
"wiping the finish with a soft cotton cloth after each use will be enough to keep the finish looking like new"

"If the body or back of the neck becomes extremely dirty, apply lukewarm soapy water with a soft cloth to the area, wipe clean with water only, then dry immediately"

"Do not apply any kind of oil to the composite fingerboard"

Per the suggestion of some people on the board.. It works great for me and really helps get the "finger funk" off the fretboard
