Harris was the same time with Cliff band not quite prog.
Harris was around a long time before Cliff.

Yep - he started Iron Maiden in 1975.
And if you don't think Iron Maiden was very progressive for its time... compare them to Judas Priest. I like Judas Priest, but the differences are HUGE.
Lights...Camera...Revolution is by far the coolest ST album and Trujillo was a founding member of Infectious Grooves which was way better than either Suicidal Tendencies or new Metallica IMO.
However, since my opinion of a band's relative worth is just as subjective as yours, feel free to keep thinking what you want.
As u said the difference is HUGE. Especially at that time not many bands sounded alike (like now-days). Now about Harris playing, (and I m finishing this here cause its off topic anw), there are are some bands older than Maiden that sound exactly like Maiden. Harris was not a pioneer of his playing. Cliff was.
Opinion. And Incorrecthow so? only the first 2 Suicidal albums are any good, only the first 3 Ozzy records are any good and only the first 3 Metallica records are any good.the rest is just blah.
