Your doctor gets income from your repeat visits. Pharma companies make money from the drugs you take. If you join a health club, they make money from your membership.
No one in their right mind would take that doctor's advice, would they? Certainly millions of people wouldn't....would they?
Because since nothing really bad has happened yet, clearly there's no need for any kind of action.
