Wow! The RA I played at NAMM didn't strike me this way, but again, you've definitely had a lot more time on one.

Actually, the tone description you put up on Saluki's thread (his similarly spec'd Sadowsky that he is selling) is very close to what I hear from this spec, and seems to be the hallmark of that somewhat unusual combination of an alder body with maple and 70's placement. Not really my thing... I either want growl (LG) or grind (LM) if I'm playing a J. Pure IMO there... the warm, pure, open tone of that RA spec is beautiful in its own way.
