So you put a Badass bridge I see....Can you tell us how the tone differed from the AC bridge it came with?

For me the BAV added some lows and scooped the mids a bit. This particular body is very light ash. I thought it was swamp ash but Jimmy says it is indeed northern, so I got lucky with an 8.4 lb LM5. That said, it was very mid focused for me, still very round and clear but it was very punchy and resonant in the mids. The BAV seems to have pushed it more towards what we all would think a 70's J is. It also added a tiny bit of weight and balance to the body, and I dig that.

how different are they from one another. I have an RA5 that I can't get enough of. I flirt with the idea of getting another AC but since I read that the RA covers both grounds pretty well don't want to introduce redundancy

Decisions...
I love the look of RA5 but feel the LG5 is a better purchase to go alonh my LM5.
So maybe I'll just keep an eye out until something hits me..I'll be travelling around TN to TX with that in mind.

This is my first post within this group. These are both excellent instruments. I swapped out the pick guard on the white bass.. original was tort which I still have but prefer the white. The 4 string has LaBella flats on it. They sound great.

They seem to be quite quiet of late.
I know John Fox isn't stocking them these days.
