YUP, it IS quiet around here BUT certainly not over on the warm sunny California Coast, more specifically BASS SAN DIEGO. 
I just got off of the phone with Chris over there and he directed me to the AC site when I asked what was going on ?
( I checked, only around Christmas and there were no AC babes to be had ! )
They have 2 super awesome 5 string AC basses on display.
1. Resurrection 5 Passive Dark Cherry Metallic $5800. SOLD today.......YESSSS !!
2. RA5 with Pearl Blocks and an AGED Olympic white finish. Stupid Killer bass IMHO and he weighed it while I was on the phone with him. It weighs a nice 9.5 pounds. $6500. Chris said that a player had that RA 5 in his hands right now as we were speaking !!!!
And YUP, I am VERY HAPPY with my AC bass, and though I have kicked it around in the past to sell/trade her. I fully came to my senses when I play LIVE and RECORD with this bass as of recent--and it is total Vintage Jazz Pre CBS with a killer Low B... There is a a 2 year PLUS waiting time for these babes. Nobody or nothing is PERFECT, but Jimmy has and is ..doing something right.
Just curious..Di anyone else notice, cuz I just saw today NYC Sadowsky at Bass San Diego, a local dealer has NYC now and a huge shop in Germany has NYC models now....hummh ?
It appears that NYC are now available from dealers again ??

I have two new Alleva basses in the works now.. Looking forward to them...
I noticed a larger than what i am used to seeing of the Sadowsky NYC basses on the Sadowsky site over the past few months....
Some real nice basses... I like that he is allowing teh NYCs to get out there so people can actually play them before making an investment into a lifelong instrument.. I am guessing that allowing them out into the wild will move quite a few units too.. great basses

Still using my AC EUT5 as my main squeeze. It just does everything right for me.
Sounds as punchy as my 62AVRI P bass + has so many other options. Including that killer low B and superb pre amp- which I hardly ever use to boost as it sounds so freaking good flat. But if it's needed. Wham-O.

Just talked to Jimmy and he told me about his house being robbed yesterday while he was at the shop. Damn! And he is in a real nice area too.
