Club Alleva-Coppolo (Part 21)

Spent a day with Jimmy during my NAMM trip and thought I'd share some pics from the shop.

Here are two killer TBs: RA5 with nitro and an LG Custom Supreme.

Both have regular sized pups instead of the smaller ones used on the TBs and both also have slightly thicker necks than what Jimmy has done on TBs in the past. Workmanship on these- and others in the shop- was top notch in terms of finish, fret work, truss, and wood working. Plus the tone was unbelievable...

The first pic shows how jet- black this Brazilian board on the Custom Supreme is. This board was from Jimmy's old stock from NY. The binding really shows this off.

The trans orange (?) is really vibrant in person, as is a trans green he had that I didnt take a pic of.

Here's another LG Custom Supreme going to Australia. This one has a more figured Brazilian board that looks pretty cool.

Those bursts look GREAT. I wasn't sure what color to pick for my new one, . Thats it , its the SB! simple and works for any type gig.

I was talking with a friend yesterday and he told me he saw a used LG5 standard type that sold in the EU for $7200 US !!!!!!! Holy Smokes,, I noticed the used ones going up the past 6 months,,even in the US... Thats nuts!

These bursts are amazing. Jimmy said the RA was the best burst yet from the Fender guy..he nailed the hues and porportions. My pics really dont do the basses justice.

Ya, things in Europe and Asia are a bit different in terms of market....

I never should have sold that one or my LPB LG5. My LPB was slightly lighter.. But both sounded so darn good..
The LPB growled just a little more.... but the Inca Silver ( yours), Had a nicer low end...

Having JImmy make me another one.. Then i will sell my sadowsky nyc... maybe get a metro ....
Nice bass though Chef.. Nice bass!
