I got to hear one of these basses a couple of nights ago. Whatever a bass is supposed to do to for the music or listener, this bass did. It helped that the guy playing it could play. I suppose he could have done nearly as well with a Squier Affinity or SX, but his tone nearly made me melt. My own talent, chops, interest in playing or finances would not allow me to justify having an Alleva-Coppolo bass, but I can see and HEAR why you guys play and love them.
