Yes, it's the special edition Spanish cedar light weight. Just got it yesterday and had the chance to gig with it. I was blown away!

Jimmy sent me a few pics of my new neck in progress.. Its my LG5 .... My Oly white is going Back to Jimmy for a repairs and Trade. Its the prototype with a Dinky body and DN fingerboard...

I forgot to mention ......that my New Fingerboard in the pictures above, is the Old Growth DN dalbergia negra rosewood...Good balance of snap and warmth.... Smells nice too

I got some more photos of my build today... Back of the neck is being shaped... then measured before hand shaping and sanding takes place, and Side Dots being installed
My EUT5 is STILL the only JAZZ type bass I've ever "bonded" with. It's a beauty. A-C rules!

I had this on a club gig a couple of years ago... Some drunk guy fell into it and cracked the body near the input jack... I just sent this one to jimmy for repairs ...... It may get a quilt Maple top..

I just spoke with Jimmy.. Looks like the yearly Alleva BASSACRE will be once again on the west coast... Location TBD... Looking at 2nd week of October 2015 at this time. Just an FYI..
Last year was a huge success.. Norm Stockton asked to perform again an well as others. .Bobby Vega, Lee Sklar, Jeremy Jermot, Chuck Rainey, Mike Merit and many others donated time helped it to be a massive success. LaBella, Nordstrand, Fodera, Ampeg, Form Factor, REDDI were only a few of the vendors.
More folks are invited this year. With more ear vendors.. That's more Amps, basses and pro audio for all to demo and win prizes..
And to top it off, me a guy that never wins a raffle ir anything for free won a great set of Nordstrand NJ4 Pickups that is in my prized jazz bass now.. Thanks to Nordstrand for his contributions and all of the other vendors from last year that added to the cool factor of Jimmy's show.. Ill post more as the date and place confirms and gets etched in stone ..
As last year, 100% of proceeds going to charity of Holistic animal Health funding research of advanced therapies. Vet Doc is on hand…
