That bass has very dark Indian RW.. I originally picked it out of a bunch of blanks that Jimmy had at the shop.. It had a really nice high Ping tap to it... and not a dead tap sound.... Its grain is tight but Its a little more open grain than DN.. but very nice piece.. I wanted something that looked good but played well that i could travel internationally and not worry too much about a $1200 fingerboard... LOL.

PS..I sold the bass to chef years ago.. Thats how i know about it.... The Body is NITRO... and should be getting some nice color changes soon.. Yet another one that i should not have sold..

I sold my CAR sadowsky to Tully Kennedy and now i see it on TV all the time. Just on the CMAs or ACAs ( dont remember) awards last night... It sounded real good . .It was NOT a chambered one. i should have kept that one too..:***::(





I don't know if it's rw or db...it's pretty dark and tight grained.
