+1, this the first time I was not able to attend since they moved the show out of NY, I hope it comes back for next year... OK... let see some pic...:hyper:

Call me impatient but I was hoping for some AC pictures from Bass Player Live. Anyone?

My bass is a black KBP 4. Jimmy said he was hoping to have it assembled in time for the show. Seeing I'm 12000 miles away, has anyone seen this bass? :help:

Sorry man. The show was crazy busy & I forgot my camera both days.
Your Pbass was NOT there ... :crying:
But .. there are 2 KBP5's without a home... One is 3 tone sunburst and the other is something new that Jimmy has a weird name for ... something like the "Coppolo California Crazy Color".
There is also a standard 4, 3TSB, nitrocellulose, tortise guard, passive tone up for grabs.
I'm sure Jimmy's girlfriend took some pics, though.
The AC highlight was a jam on Saturday afternoon in the Aguilar Booth with Nathan East, Ricky Minor & "Ready" Freddie Washington. Nathan was using a 1600 with a rare Spalted & Flamed Maple Top, Alder, Rosewood and Freddie was playing a black, matching headstock, alder, rosewood, Standard 4. Both basses were on loan to the Aguilar guys for the show & the 1600 had the Aguilar OBP3 preamp in it.
Many amazing cats came by the booth all weekend ... I spent more time there today & saw Dominique Di Piazza, Oscar Cartaya, Darryl Williams (Euge Groove), Derrick Murdock (Tonight Show) & Ian Martin (Barry Manilow).
I can only imagine what he's cooking up for NAMM ... I usually have the inside scoop, but 2 killer basses showed up for the show that I knew nothing about .... the crazy color KBP5 and an LM 5 with a rosewood board that had guys fighting over it !!!

I had some camera problems - hope these cause or relieve GAS.

Hey. No worries. Thanks very much for letting me know. Sounds like it was an awesome couple of days.

Does anybody have any pics of an Alleva Coppolo with a natural finished ash or alder body and a rosewood fingerboard? If so, I'd love to see one.

There was an natural ash/rosewood 5 at BPL this weekend.
The guys at Dunlop/MXR had it in their booth.
This was MY favorite bass of the show and I considered buying it before 2 of my friends started arguing over which of them was gonna buy it.
Email Jimmy: [email protected] today and ask him for a pic because it got sold and may be shipped or picked up this week.
