Gentleman.... I present to you the Tim Seisser Signature Model. Let me know your thoughts
To be honest, I think it looks rather ordinary compared to something like the Ball bass, for instance.
That's the point.
That is a cool design for sure. I did consider that one, but landed back on the traditional Ball design, and honestly couldn't be any happier with it.The ball is bigger, the lower horn is smaller. I prefer the Big McNeely to the ball bass I had.
I don't make the rules, but some bands want us to keep things very plain and would just assume we all play the same basses. Unfortunately, these basses just can't hold a candle to most luthier made basses. The goal with this design is to have something well made, but still simple enough looking.
That being said, I can't see myself straying away from the Ball shape due to its' light weight, balance, and overall comfort.

The good/bad news is, there's no answer to your question. Any amp will work great with these basses... they don't have the kind of personality where it has to be a specific match-up like that. Just pick any amp that you like the sound and price of.Bordwellians
Just dropping by to say hi and ask a question. I'm looking to buy a Class D bass amp say 500+ watts. Has anyone found a pairing of amp and CB bass that particularly works?
I'm number 19 in the Cliff Bordwell List I think!

Ahhh, ok...OK, but it would be interesting to hear what CB owners play through!
