I'm loving that 32" scale and all the Maple you've got going on with that new Bordwell. Do you have any audio clips that you might feel like demoing?

I had asked for some thoughts on this and didn't hear too many positives, but Cliff's recommendation and I know there are a ton of Roscoe's out there with the chambered cedar made me think I will be just fine!

Both of the BIG McNeely's I got are chambered, and it def helped save on weight. It gives them a really nice tone too, especially the one with the cedar core!
Just checking, but you're talking about his regular chambered design and not the parallel chambered design right?

So I've used the new fretless in a few rehearsals, sounds fantastic. This is the first bass I have ever used (ever) that has a great bridge pickup tone in my hands. Still retains the all important fffffffffatness that usually falls by the wayside too much for me, so I think I'll rename these pickups Fffffffffffat Stacks instead.
Oh yeah and last night I made this little ditty to my dead fish:

My wife says "just needs a sax solo" but otherwise I like it.
