Very contemporary looking. Needs a catchy name for the body shape.

I think I might start investigating the Ball 6 soon. Any feedback on 34" scale vs. 35" for TI Jazz Flats? Was playing my 35" scale Conklin yesterday and 34" scale Rami 6 and am now on the fence.

I thought about that but one of the main goals with this bass was to try to keep things as simple as possible... both for aesthetic reasons and financial.

I would love to see a bolt-on. I've played one of Cliff's old bolt-on models and loved it.

Cliff prefers not to do a bolt on neck. I originally asked him about doing one for this bass but he said it sacrifices too much in the tone and overall sound departments. I am hoping it doesn't affect the overall sound much since I am modeling this bass after the standard bolt on/passive/ash and maple jazz bass on steriods.
Honestly, I am so set on playing Cliffs basses at this point that I would rather just have the same exact neck that is on my singlecuts.

Hard to say how much a bolt-on neck would change it. It might lose a certain CB nature to it.

You can really start to see Cliff's attention to detail in this batch, with all the clean lines on the basses. His work is just a really great investment!
