Club Bordwell Part 3

My first custom build starts in the next batch and I am scared/excited/nervous.

I am not a super technical player, but I know enough that many of the off the shelf basses were not doing it for me. Even sold a 4 string Ken Smith. I am at work now, but will elaborate on my interaction with him regarding his instrument later. Which, in all honesty, was BEAUTIFUL!!

Very much looking forward to Cliff's work.

After some searching, I see that Juststrings.com carries a high C TI Jazz Flat and I could possibly just add that to the 36" scale 5 string set. I've thought about Cliff making a wood bridge with metal saddles. I'd like to think the additional tension would add brightness and allow me to use the wood bridge if I wanted.

My new CB Basses came in the mail today!

It was the first time I seen them finished, and all I can say is WOW!
Here is a pic of them next to my other two Big McNeelys so everyone can see how they turned out.

I'll post a review of them within a week, and will also have someone else take some professional pictures so you can see them better :)

By the way, thanks again Cliff!!! They are perfect!

I'll look forward to those other pictures so we can see it better, but from what I can see, it sure as heck looks nice! :)

Thanks everyone! I'll wait until Cliff post finished pictures before I start posting more revealing pictures ;)

The 32" scale fretted is definitely my favorite! I cannot believe the way it plays and sounds.

The 7 stringer is so much fun to play too. It has such an awesome fretless tone!
