In the protec bag, It would just fit. Are you looking for 35 inch scale? Do you just want a little larger headpiece?
I'm probably going to get a Mono Vertigo bag. I wish Cliff would use a higher quality Gig bag. I would rather spend $100 more and get something with more protection. At leasst it doesn't have a headstock to snap
Now where to put my headstock tuner:)

More for 35" scale than a bigger head piece. I've been mentally debating over this one for quite some time due to the logistics of gig bags, TI Jazz Flats, and the slight possibility of double ball strings. I don't need 35" scale for the low B, but in my opinion, the additional tension of 35" scale allows the action to be lower and buzz free.

Good point on the headstock. I have never played a Bordwell bass, but it seems that he makes his headstocks have quite the angle on them compared to many other headstocks I have seen.

Concerning your new headless, I'm wondering what is going to protect the bridge tuners while being transported in a case /bag. It looks as if the tuners extend well past the body, whereas some headless basses seem to have the bridge tuners recessed into the body.

The tuners are protected by the body shape on the treble side and by the strap pin on the bass side.

OK, that makes sense. It was the bass side that I wasn't too sure about from the pictures so far. I could not tell how far the strap pin extended past the 5th string bridge tuner. Thanks for the explanation...seems like that will work well to protect the tuners. :cool:
