Plus, it's virtually indestructible when it comes to durability and it doesn't move with humidity changes.
I don't want to sound like a party pooper, but isn't that what people said about carbon fiber necks as well? And still, from what I've gathered from/on these forums, people still say they need adjustments as the season change (talking 'bout necks of course, not dymondwood fingerboards.)

Dymonwood is very similar to Phenolic, which I use to work with on occasion when I was a machinist.
