Thanks. Interesting specs on yours. That should look interesting when it's done. Heh, it seems Cliff's customers are about as artistic and daring as he is! It makes for some really interesting stuff.

Man, the updates really help the time go by while waiting for your own bass. I'm only three builds away it's going by pretty fast. And it's cool to see all of these beautiful basses being made in the meantime !

I've been messing around with the EQ. Adding a touch of mids on the J pickup brings about more Jaco-ish goodness than you can shake a stick at. I cut the highs, boosted the bass frequencies and some low mid on the P pickup to get a very deep and thuddy vintage sound.

Amen to that. It is great watching all the builds develop... but it takes on a whole new level when yours comes up. Looks like my fretless and your bass may be in the same build. I think Cliff told me he expects to start work on the fretless in Jan. 09 with an estimated delivery of March 09.

I think you may be right.Cliff originaly said 14 months which would be mar-aprour basses might be brothersthat's awsome !

Lots of knobs and switches on this one
It will be vol, bal, 4 band eq, z mode switch, active/passive switch, 2 series/parallel/single coil switches for the pickups, front mounted battery indicator LED, front mounted output jack.... phew.

Go for it! Cliff built these things out of whatever leftovers he could find (popsicle sticks, cutting boards, etc.) and they're truly spectacular. The passive Delano harness really sings and could be upgraded to an active pre if desired.

Lightest bass I own. If you don't dig it, I'll be surprised.

Wow, I would be all over this if I had the coin! I would say go for it you should be able to get $950 for it yourself if it turns out not to be you cup of tea.

I got the chance to play Zooberwerx's CB bass that was similar, and I would buy that bass in a second! I would go for it if I were you
