Yeah I knew that already.
I am so excited. I can't wait to get this bass. I have been gigging a ton on my lakland lately. It is a nice bass but I have played the crap out of it for the last 3 years or so. It is badly in need of a fret job... it is buzzing all over the place. Plus the strings I have on it now are dead and the gig bag I am carrying it around in is falling apart. I just couldn't justify spending a bunch of money on it before the bordwell arrives. PLus I figure it will make my CB seem that much better when I actually do get it.

I am so excited. I can't wait to get this bass. I have been gigging a ton on my lakland lately. It is a nice bass but I have played the crap out of it for the last 3 years or so. Normally I would be upset that I didn't get a pic. update but the news today could not be better.
In addition to finding out my Bordwell is being shipped next week, I also just got done exchanging emails with the Markbass guys and it looks like my brand new 4X10 and 1X12 will also be arriving in the next couple of weeks. And, what's even better is I am going to pick up my new pedalboard next week. Today was a good day.
Now I am off to a CD release show with some of the best jazz players in Chicago... then off to Navy Pier for an outdoor concert tomorrow night...

Just got word from Cliff that my bass is shipped today... should be in my hands friday.
Cliff says he thinks I am going to need a spreadsheet to keep track of all the tonal possibilities.

I just saw that too. Ridiculous
. Got the UPS tracking info today... on time set for delivery 6/20. What is even better is that it will be here for the weekend so I will be able to give it an immediate test run on a jazz gig on friday night and a funk/pop gig on saturday.

No problem. I just wanted to hear Tslices opinion about he's new bass. I believe my bass will be here next week. I can wait and as you, Cliff, very well know, I am a little busy and confused at the moment. Too many good thinks are happening at the same time.

I am going to hold out until after next weekend for a detailed review. I have a gig tonight and one tomorrow and 4 next weekend so by then I will have had enough experience to give an accurate review.
I am having some minor issues with the blend on the preamp... plus I am probably the most anal bassist in the world when it comes to setup and this bass is still settling in to its new climate so it is hard for me give my impressions.
What I can say is that this bass is beautiful and the woodworking is simply amazing. I am in awe of the way it looks.
More to come in a couple of days.
