What's the electronics package on that bass?
I got the bass in July 2005...I still consider it "new"
It was on the News page when it was being built, but like I said that was in 2005 and Cliff's News page doesn't go back that far.

The electronics in the bass are two nordstrand dual coils with 3 way series/parallel/single coil switches. The preamp is an audere 4 band eq with Z mode switch and Active/Passive switch. For the recording i just ran the pickups in series with a 75/25 balance between neck and bridge respectively. Usually I bump up the lows a little and sometimes and in some high and low mids for some extra definition. I didn't use the z mode switch on these recordings but do often use them live.

Haha! It does look like that, but it is actually my attempt at crackling the paint! Looks a little different in real life.... especially next to my basses.

I have decided to add the 28 fret option. Other than that, just checking and rechecking the list of specs and conversations between Cliff and I to make sure I'm not forgetting anything. I'm very psyched!!!
So, basically in Feb, I'll be getting a Stambaugh 4 string, Rob Allen fretless 6, and ordering the Rami 6. Good thing I have been stashing away cash!
