Ok, 2016 Club Brimstone list. Looking back through the posts I definitely flubbed the numbering a couple times so I apologize to anyone who's number moved. Here's where the list is now:

Hm... my first testing has not been very overwhelming. I was not able to clean it enough in the lows and the distortion in the upper registers did not sound quite right. The issue with the lows annoys me more - the low end gets "flubby" and undefined. As soon as I turn it off the clean, very precise, accurate and quick low end comes back. It's somewhat sad, that you have that much control, but not really the control I wish for. However, I think Brimstone really should do the framework without the distortion, meaning, providing a looper that lets you do the bi-amping in the box by yourself, putting in whatever pedal you'd like to put in. Because I like the options, but somehow the distortion did not appeal to me.

I for sure will give it further testing. Could you give me some advice for a fat clean tone and a cutting distortion on top?

The XD-2 is an awesome pedal, a tweaker's delight.

The only negative I can see with mine is a loud pop with the on/off switch. It's not quite as prevalent with the boost switch disengaged, but it's still there. The boost switch is quiet.

Not sure if that's common, or if I have an issue. Appreciate any input on that from users out there.

Not a Brimstowner (yet), but that's a common issue with True Bypass pedals. Sometimes it helps to cycle the switch a few times
