Yes, it's a Wishbass. It's got a 36" scale with a purple heart fingerboard. The Jazz style bass is a custom model built by Rob Hacker in Austin. It has Sadowsky electronics. More pics of Clement #4 coming.

More pics of Clement #4 coming.

Welcome to the club, Moe! :)
I'll have to go through the files and hand out numbers again so won't be getting you a number with this post, but stay tuned.

That's a very early Clement you've got there! It looks nice! Did you read up on Ed friedland's review on the black limba bass recently? :)

You were unaware of it being a Clement? It doesn't have a signature? I have #69, and it has a nice silver hand-written signature on the headstock. :) Personally signed by the Master himself. It's cool :)

Did you just purchase it?

Mr. Walker, no my Clement is unsigned as far as I know. I suppose if it had been, I would have known it was a Clement made bass. Naturally Tom had no problem identifying it & calling attention to the fact that it was indeed one of his basses. It came without strings & I put a set of GHS flats on it. It's a great playing bass with a lot of bottom. I don't play 4 strings live much but use them in the studio quite a bit. I'm interested to see how it records. To be frank, I'd never seen a Clement bass until I saw this one. Now that I am aware of Tom's wonderful skills in this regard, I may be interested in getting him to make another instrument for me. As I've stated elsewhere in the forums, I make my living with custom basses. The Clement bass I have here is up to par with the ones I own that have paid for themselves many times over. More pics on the way.
