Club Clement (Part 6: Post your basses here)

I have a thread looking for 4 stringers with a jazz neck, 17.5mm spacing with a 1.5" nut. Does Clement offer any? Most basses are 19mm P bass spacing as 4 strings so any other options besides "jazzesque" basses are appreciated!

Waiting for delivery of my Clement #141.

Tom will build to your specifications when it comes to these measurements, so the question must be yes, absolutely. :-)

MrWalker,

I've got one more question for you regarding the Hipshot Headless System:

How well does the headless stay in tune compared with the "standard" Hipshot tuning machines? Perhaps there is no noticeable difference between the two systems?

MrWalker,

I've got one more question for you regarding the Hipshot Headless System:

How well does the headless stay in tune compared with the "standard" Hipshot tuning machines? Perhaps there is no noticeable difference between the two systems?

No noticeable difference so far, but I haven't tried it in high humidity or for temperature changes. I don't expect it to be any different. If anything, it'll probably be more stable, as the string is locked down tighter than on a "normal" tuning peg, and the string saddle is comparable to "normal" saddles.

More #265 build photos!

Got them a couple of days ago, haven't had an opportunity to get all the shots together as the build is progressing like an express train! Tom builds quicker than I right click and save photos :p:hiding::p I'm not complaining though, love every moment of it!

Picking out the fingerboard.. Birdseye it is!
