Here's my first pressing of the polished ring using a temporary tool. It's not been cleaned up as I wanted to test the basic shape and form before I made a permanent, hard tool set using this as a pattern.
I've set it on the bobbin pattern just to show how it'll look. Very excited now

I was one of his victims...he even claimed to have shipped it a 2nd time...never a tracking #, just his word & that aint much to me...For what it's worth, I have 3 basses with Darkstars. By the way, I never bought Darkstars directly from him, for any of those basses...
