Club Dark Star

Here's my Darkstar'ed P bass live in a blues power trio gig recently, warts and all (a couple of clams from me). We got a last minute phone call to do this gig and we hadn't played together for over a year, or rehearsed.

Sorry to ask this guys, but I don't relish sifting through all 18 pages when I don't know if what I'm looking for is there.

Is there a favorite style of harness (type of wire/wrap, cap value/manufacturer, etc.) for a single Darkstar?

If someone recalls that the answer I seek is certainly somewhere in these pages, then I'll look for it. Thanks

If memory serves correctly, I believe Fred Hammon recommended mallory caps (probably .47 mfd), and 500k pots (that makes the biggest difference, they sound more 'open' with the 500k's) I used push back vintage wiring for mine, but I really don't think it matters. I also used a sprague cap. The big difference was switching out 250k pots for 500k.
