i think yours is the nicest i've seen yet
beautiful colour scheme/pickguard
I've got a Shoreline Gold with Darkstars, no pickguard and matching headstock currently being restored by Lakland (previous owner got Chi's, didn't like them, put in DS pups with all the gaps, decided to get a 63 P-bass, and I bought it real cheap). I will post pictures when I get it back, projected to be at the end of the month.
*fingers crossed*I forgot to mention, I saw that bass when I was in the shop about three weeks ago. It's going to be fantastic once they get it restored.I've got a Shoreline Gold with Darkstars, no pickguard and matching headstock currently being restored by Lakland (previous owner got Chi's, didn't like them, put in DS pups with all the gaps, decided to get a 63 P-bass, and I bought it real cheap). Pretty unique sounding bass; kinda like the Lakland Hollowbody, which has similar pickup placement.
Current Lakland build quality is really excellent. Finish and playability were superb right outta the box.
The bridge pickup barks nicely, and the neck pickup is really it's own deal: hefty and quite clear.

Count me in -
I used it on the song Black Mokona here-

I used it for the regular bass and the crunchy distorted bass, mostly using the neck pickup. The other parts are using my Blueshawk bass.

Beautiful basses.
I'm hoping to be joining your club very soon. Probably a couple of months though![]()
That's great! You'll love it! Well worth the wait.
