We haven't heard from Thndrstk6 for a long time, and I haven't seen a mockup from him in even longer.

Marcel may do mockups though.

Did you notice in the last Fbass workshop tour video that George has a "prototype" of a six string VF hanging on the wall? It doesn't have black hardware (or probably a 16mm string spacing), but you can see it a few times in the clip. It looks like it is sun burst, tort pick guard, with a rosewood finger board, so it could show fairly closely you how your bass might look.
