I thought I was going to be the first with a Fiesta Red VF, but then some emerging commitments meant that it will take me a while longer to drum up the finances for it. It's only a matter of time though....

Go for tortoiseshell, IMHO there's no better match for Fiesta Red.

and... PLEASE keep us updated with photos!!!

I think vertical does better with TB posts... both for browser window sizing as well as TB image scaling for width.

I do too, but I don't necessarily want my browser window to consume that much of it just to have a horizontal bass vs a vertical one. If the vertical pics would actually be somehow worse quality, then yeah, but at least to me, the orientation doesn't really matter, so the convenience of leaving more unobstructed desktop area is good for me.

Horizontal for me. But of course I have large widescreen monitors.

I have large, widescreen monitors as well, but they turn 90 degrees, so either works for me.

What works BEST for me is how Nick gives a photo that will fit on one screen, no matter its size, then we can click to look at a bigger version, so we can check out section at a time in detail.

Vic's got a good point. Vertical allows the photo displayed in TB to be fairly large, without stretching the browser window too wide.

Again, just so long as we can see the whole bass on one screen, then click to see it in sections with more detail (i.e. a large photo), I'm happy.

I wouldn't like it so much if we had vertical photos that were too big to fit on a screen, 'cause you wouldn't be able to get the overall look of the bass in your head.

Yeah I was thinking of getting blocks but I like the dots more. The blocks are a little over
for this one. I like blocks on natural bodies though.
