This one in particular has me curious. It has an ash body and a maple finger board, but the pickups are in the 60s positions... which is what I understand is the case with BN5s, except that BN5s are 34.5 inches in scale length, and of course the VF5s use George's single coil pickups whereas the BN5s use the stacked soapbars for noise canceling.
That's what I thought too - it was a very interesting mix. I'll try and do a quick sample of it this weekend if I can sweet talk my wife into letting me get away from the family for a bit.
