Hi all !
Here's my latest Fbass , Inca gold NY BN5 , with my ice blue BN6
Just wanted to chime in here so I can drool over these basses. I don't own one but I played an FBass (used BN5) for the first time the other day at my local GC.
I haven't had GAS like this in some time. The finish is a little rough (probably a 7/10) but the tone and playability were insane. So I've decided that I [DEL]want[/DEL] need one.
GC's price of $2800 seems a little steep considering its condition but I'm sure it can be brought down. However I'd much rather get one from a fellow Tber if possible. So if any of you fine folks are considering letting one go in the next month or so to the tune of $2300 or thereabouts please PM me! I have a big bonus coming in at the end of the month and I'm feeling the itch.

Offer them 2290. Sounds more serious, definitive and more than 2300. Also, if negotiation happens, you can always go to 2300$.
Tell them also that you are a valuable customer, it always makes the seller feel good, and your rather support their business than buy something online.

I'm not sure how long it's been there. Definitely only a month or so since I pop in there every once in a while.
I used to work at a different GC so I'm aware of their pricing for used gear being double what they paid for it. $2300 still generates a nice little profit of $900 for the store (and corresponding commission for GC Salesguy).
If it's still there by month's end I'm going to negotiate.

You can't see the finish flaws in the pic of course. It's got a decent amount of swirling and scuffs in the clear coat and there's cracking/checking around the strap button on the upper horn.
But man oh man... what a sound! and feel! It's the only bass I've ever picked up that I've liked more than my beloved '99 Lakland.

I know what you mean. When I got my first Fbass it was what I been searching for for years. Im now on my third one. No other bass can come close.

Agreed.. Most of what I own now are F's but I don't think I can abandon my Nordy's tho.. If it came down to it they would go before my fav F's for sure. I want a VF4 pj really bad..
