Just as a caution, not sure if it’s been decided yet that it will be offered on any BN series bass or only on this potential new model. If you are seriously interested you might want to confirm that with Marcel.

I sent Marcel a quick follow-up, whether my VF6-PJ Fretless had begun yet. I haven't heard back yet. He's usually pretty fast to respond. Maybe they're backlogged with email requests at the moment.

Joined the club finally... My first F and fretless... SPEECHLESS when Marcel sent me all the pic... Can't wait!
Was told by him it's their first roasted maple neck build as well :)

Hmm left me speechless too.
I wanted to choose my congratulatory words carefully, I love roasted maple, and this beast is absolutely stunning — well that careful word-choice went out the window once I saw your name attached to this F, it's the Bomb — the F-BOMB!
Took me quite a while to realise who the owner of this Black Beauty is, because I couldn't stop pouring over the pics.
My F-Bass GAS was waining, this bass has fully reignited it.:bassist:

I will beat down the doors to Uni••Sound to see this bass in the flesh, can hardly wait to hear you play it!

Absolutely beautiful bass... :) .. I love my BN5F too. Question.. what strings are on the bass? Are they open core, tape wound, flat wound or round wound?

That's La Bella Black Nylon Strings which I always prefer on a fretless.

I like this bass more and more! You may have seen the photos of the BNF6 I recently purchased and I put La Bella black tapes on that too. It sounds so wonderful. The two Basses are similar in many ways. You’ve got a really special piece and I know you are going to love it. I only wish I could hear it. Again, congratulations.
