Club Fbass (thread 13)

The thinking at the time was that I have a ton of basses, and a ton of 6-string basses, and I don't play enough to give them all attention.

With this particular bass, the space between the fingerboard and the neck pickup is small and makes it hard for me to slap (I use 2 or 3 plucking fingers), so I only use it when I KNOW I won't be slapping. It just seemed like a good idea to move this beauty to someone who would use it and appreciate it, rather than have it pretty up my basement band room while other 6ers get played.

Sound logic, and I too have had that level of conversation, I just haven't mustered the willpower. :)

well .......this happened recently. (Thanks to @RussT for the heads up)....
Loving it - fit n finish is great, it has been well played, yet even more loved. It is a 2009, and barely can tell it has been played....It has apparently travelled the world from the previous owner. He has contacted me since the purchase, asking for first right of refusal IF i ever sell it. I think he has sellers remorse. I hate that feeling - regardless, happy to have a Canadian Fbass in my grubby hands. :)

Whenever I see one of these up for sale on TB I wonder where do you go after owning a BN4?

Really loving my BN5 (Ash,maple,ebony)... This is my third Fbass and the best I've had! All the basses have been awesome but this one just takes the cake :) I have been playing all my gigs with it this summer! I love my Fodera, but BN just has different sound that fits this band well! I'm currently touring with Finlands biggest female-artist, music is something close to electro-pop. I play half of the show key bass. I play my Fbass to Noble preamp and straight to in-ears. Tone for days :)

Hi guys, sorry to do this, but gas comes an go, ill probably jump back on fbass in the future for a AC4 when available.
If you may be interested, im sellin my Feb 17 VF4 Pj Fiesta red, with a BN headstock (probably the only one like this) it's amazing, lightweight, super punchy and fat (p sound it's absurd). Alder/rosewood, dots and bindings, beatuful bass. Im located in Italy, and sure we can find a way to sort out shipping. If interested, just drop me a message and ill provide pics and everething.
