Club Moollon

I was bad a couple weeks ago and emailed Andi to check on the status of my my P IV classic that I ordered May '20 since I last heard from him in May by email apologizing about the delay. He told me by end of the year or around January with about 6 builds ahead of mine.

Just sharing to give everyone an idea of the timeline with an order from around the same time as mine. Can't wait for this bass!

Nicely done, especially for $1000 less than new! Some weird info in the ad (it's swamp ash + makassar ebony on maple), but that's to be expected after changing hands a few times.

It's one of a few J-Classic Vs that were finished in what YJ called "Transparent Cocoa" or the like back when he had time to mess about with customer requests on his spare time (those were the days). I remember a handful of them being done in two different Transparent Brown shades, the above J-V being of the darker sort, and is one of two J-V bodies done that in that darker hue that made it out the door...and may very well be the darker one in the image below.

I can't find any images of it when competed (body finished in 2015, shipped out in 2017?) but one of the series that was done a bit lighter looks like this and was shipped out to a fellow in Florida. It's likely the same J-V in the above lighter body image:
