Ouch. My order is from May 2021, so I better work on my patience game. Fingers crossed I get it before the 2 year mark...
The waiting sucks...not gonna lie, but I know that YJ makes an awesome bass so that makes it easier to endure the wait.

I'm on month 20. used to be 5 months..Any new Moollons delivered to members of this club recently? I'm closing in on the estimated 18 month completion date and although I'm aware it was a rough estimation and delays are to be expected, I can't help but feel excited. Like the mind knows to be patient but the heart wants wat it wants. And that's a Moollon P!![]()
Sweet jesus that’s a fine looking bass. Congrats! My #moollon has finally arrived! It's been a long 744 days but I couldn't be more delighted. I've needed a quality gigging bass comparable to my '57 P and I must say...the feel and weight of this bass are spot on! The Desert Sand color was inspired by a vintage '50s Duo-Sonic that I saw ages ago and even though it reminds me of Luke Skywalker, I LOVE the combo with the gold guard! A big thanks to YJ, Andi, and Ashley for making this happen!

Ooh man, this puts me in mind of Kevin Scott’s bass in that Forq video. That was the bass that convinced me to go maple neck on my recent P. I read the first post and imagined your pulse quickening…Sweet jesus that’s a fine looking bass. Congrats!
I am on month 26 for a JV. Any day now!
INDEED.I read the first post and imagined your pulse quickening…
I'm not sure if he has a Soft-V but I wanted another one like my '57 and YJ was kind enough to make the profile for me. I almost went with Seafoam but the Desert Sand just seemed right.Ooh man, this puts me in mind of Kevin Scott’s bass in that Forq video. The Moollon Desert sand color rocks.Wow, that is a beautiful bass. I’m waiting on a dessert sand P Classic IV. Mine will have an ebony board and tort guard, and after seeing yours I'm really glad I went with that finish.

UPDATE- The DRs sounded good at my gig today but the E was not at all the same tone as the others and was kind of dead/flat/no punch. I went home and immediately changed them to a used pair of TIs and it gave me the woody/growl/midrange that my vintage '57 P has! Totally psyched!
They are DR Legend flatwounds 45-105 and Andi told me that orders with flats will be DR. Tons of my friends love them but I like midrange and they like scooped mids.did it have DRs or Dunlop’s? Dunlops have the black silk and are what they use when they ship with flats
