Andi wrote that they were DRs but I have not used either brand so I don’t know the silk color. He did say that DRs were going to be the main flat used on basses going ahead
I was able to order mine with La Bella 760FS. I REALLY don’t like the Dunlop flats that were standard and I’m not a fan of DR’s flats either. I love their sunbeams and pure blues rounds, but wanted my p IV too wear flats. I’ve also seen a few basses with TI flats.
Andi said we can ship TIs and pickup covers to them but that was too expensive and it was easier to just do it myself here.

Sorry if you’ve already mentioned it here somewhere in these 2000+ posts, but what kind of La Bella’s?
I tried Chromes first because they worked well on my fender P. I didn’t care for them on the Moollon so tried TI’s and stopped there because I like them so much. But always thinking about what else I might like…
My favorite flats are the LTF flats, and if you like TI’s, they’re worth trying. The tension is similar and the gauges are almost the same, but they have the La Bella thump. They also get better the longer you have them. And they’re about half the price of the TI’s. I’m getting the 760FS on my Moollon because that’s what Andi said was available in South Korea, but I also I wanted to try a different set.

The 760FL is also a good alternative to the LTF if you like less tension. The Jamerson set is great if you like all of the tension.

I’m down with any tension as I’m also an upright player and have spent my whole life bouncing from active electric 5-strings to upright bass and back. It’s caused me to really not have too picky a preference on neck shapes or string feels. I’m all about the sounds!
If my TI’s ever die out I’ll look into the LTF or Jamersons. I’m guessing my Moollon J-V may come before that ever happens, so I’ll probably need to start researching the best roundwounds for our Moollon J basses.
If you’ve got the upright hands…you’ll be fine with the Jamerson flats. For recording the Jamersons kill it. For live work the LTF are fabulous. They also track well.
Personally I like the flats on my PV, but I use rounds on my JV.
My 2 cents. Worth every penny.
I may not be a real man, but there is a ray of sunshine. This is a fantastic pairing. I've wanted to try this setup for a long time. I'm very happy with the sound and feel of these strings live!

The FL’s are awesome. They were my favorites before I switched to the LTFs and I still have some on a musicmaster bass.
To he honest the Moollon P sounds amazing with any string. I have TIs on it. Having said that, I just bought a rattlesnake cable and It made my Moollon sound more incredible than it was.
I do not have a Moollon, but I sure as *(*& wish I did. A BRG Precision e.g. (if he does British Racing Green):
like wow. Or Fiesta Red, or that amazing Desert Tan, or Pink IDC!

I have a couple Rattlesnakes, they are excellent, but very "thick". I guess that's good though; they are extremely well put together.
Tsunami? I actually wanted to try/buy one, but they actually did not reply to my E-Mailed question, so I think very poorly of them, & would not buy. I think their products are probably very good regardless.

BAYOU cables are
really a "sleeping giant" IMO. fantastic, I've used them as primaries for years with no problems.
The DIVINE NOISE coil cables in particular, look very nice, and have some good reviews.
